FLUORIDATION OF WATER

8.16.010 Authorized.
A source of fluoridation approved by the Washington State Department of Health shall be added to the water supply of the city under the rules and regulations of the Washington State Department of Health, such addition to be administered in a manner approved by the Washington State Director of Public Health. [Ord. 361 § 1, 1969].
8.16.020 Commencement.
The fluoridation of the city water supply shall be commenced as soon as practicable after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter and the approval of the Washington State Department of Health. [Ord. 361 § 2, 1969].
8.16.030 Findings.
It is determined that fluoridation of the water supply of the city in the manner provided in this chapter will preserve and protect the public health and general welfare of the inhabitants of the community and shall be in the public interest. [Ord. 361 § 3, 1969].
