2.25.010 Law enforcement services contract – Powers.

At any time when there shall be in existence a law enforcement services contract between the town of Cathlamet and the county of Wahkiakum, the duly commissioned county law enforcement officers shall be, and hereby are, granted the powers of a town marshal of the town of Cathlamet. (Ord. 276 § 1, 1977)

2.25.020 Law enforcement services contract – Effective when.

The powers herein granted shall be exercised only while a valid law enforcement services contract is in effect between the town of Cathlamet and the county of Wahkiakum and the exercise of said powers during said times shall not create the relationship of employer and employee between the town and any county law enforcement officer.
