13.15.010 Findings.

It is hereby found and declared that the public health, welfare and safety is being endangered by the inadequacy of the existing system of sewerage within the town, and that the danger to the public health will be abated by the construction of additions, extensions and betterments to said system which the council proposes to authorize. (Ord. 232 § 1, 1962)

13.15.020 Waterworks utility responsibility and authority.

The existing sewerage system of the town of Cathlamet, Washington, together with any and all additions and improvements thereto and extensions thereof, shall be considered a part of, and belong to, the waterworks utility of the town, and the cost of acquisition, construction and installation of all future additions and improvements to, and extensions of, such system and the cost of maintenance and operation of the same as improved shall be charged to the waterworks utility of the town, and any rates and charges which may be collected hereafter for sewerage disposal service shall be paid into the water and sewer fund of the town. 13.15.030 Funds.

There is hereby created a water and sewer fund into which shall be paid all of the gross revenues of said combined water and sewer systems, and all monies in the water fund and the sewer funds shall be transferred to said water and sewer fund. (Ord. 232 § 3, 1962)
