SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT REVOLVING FUND

1.160.010 Established.

(a)  A revolving fund in the amount of six hundred dollars is established in the Chelan County sheriff’s office.

(b)  Said fund is to be known as the “Sheriff’s Revolving Fund.”

(c)  Custodian of this fund shall be the sheriff’s chief civil deputy. (Res. 89-22 §§ a, b, c, 2/13/89).

1.160.020 Expenditures and use of funds.

(a)  An amount of fifty dollars of said fund shall be used to provide monies for the cash drawer in the sheriff’s office.

(b)  An additional amount of fifty dollars from said fund shall be used as a petty cash fund in the sheriff’s office.

(c)  Use of all monies shall be limited to expenditures properly charged to the sheriff’s department budget.

(d)  All expenditures shall be substantiated by receipts verifying all transactions. (Res. 89-22 §§ d—g, 2/13/89).

1.160.030 Annual reimbursement.

The revolving fund shall be reimbursed to its full authorized amount prior to the end of each budget year. (Res. 89-22 § h, 2/13/89).
