COURTHOUSE FACILITATOR

(a)  The position of courthouse facilitator is created to serve family law litigants.

(b)  This position serves at the pleasure of the Chelan County clerk.

(c)  The Chelan County clerk is authorized to impose a twenty dollar surcharge on those superior court cases filed under RCW Title 26 and a twenty dollar per visit fee to users of the facilitator.

(d)  The county auditor is authorized to impose an excess fee of eight dollars on the issuance of marriage licenses in accordance with RCW 26.12.220.

(e)  Monies collected shall be paid into current expense and shall be used solely for the support of the courthouse facilitator program.

(f)  The effective date shall be July 23, 2005. (Res. 2005-52, 5/16/05: Res. 2002-114, 7/29/02; Res. 99-166, 12/20/99).
