1.24.010 Payroll deduction for one health plan only.

Whereas, approximately ninety percent of the Chelan County employees have contracted with the Washington Hospital Service Association for a health coverage plan, and the commissioners of Chelan County have approved the plan for the Chelan County Employees, therefore, be it resolved, that the auditor of Chelan County be required to make a payroll deduction for only one health plan. (Res. 300-D, 1/19/59).

1.24.020 Elected officers entitled to coverage.

Under the provisions of Chapter 57, Laws of 1965, Chelan County shall provide such hospitalization and medical aid to county elected officials and their dependents on the same basis as such hospitalization and medical aid is provided to other county employees and their dependents at the beginning of each new term after this date. (Res. 307-E, 7/18/66).

1.24.030 Full time employees’ coverage.

Chelan County shall provide, at the employer’s expense, employees’ premiums for hospital, medical, surgical, and group life insurance for all regular full time employees and provide the same coverage for salaried elected officials of Chelan County, effective date January 1, 1967. A regular full time employee is one working not less than one hundred twenty hours per month each month of the year. (Res. 344-E, 12/19/66).

1.24.040 Part time employees’ coverage.

The employer shall pay one-half of the employees’ premium for a regular employee who works at least seventy hours, but less than one hundred twenty hours per month, with the employee paying one-half of the premium by payroll deduction. (Res. 344-E, December 19, 1966 at Vol. C page 390).
