PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT REVOLVING FUNDS*

1.104.010 Petty cash fund established—Custodian.

(1)    A petty cash fund, to be known as the Chelan County public works department revolving fund, is established in the amount of five hundred dollars.

(2)    Designated custodian shall be the business manager for the Chelan County public works department.

(3)    Use of the fund shall be limited to expenditures properly chargeable to the Chelan County public works department’s budget.

(4)    All expenditures shall be substantiated by receipts verifying transactions.

(5)    The fund shall be reimbursed to its full authorized amount prior to the end of the budget year. (Res. 2013-67 (Exh. A), 8/27/13: Res. 76-35 (part), July 15, 1975 at Vol. E page 306).

1.104.020 Change fund established—Custodian.

(1)    The board of commissioners for Chelan County hereby authorize a revolving fund in the amount of one hundred dollars be established in the Chelan County public works office.

(2)    Said fund shall be known and reconciled as the “public works change fund” and the custodian of this fund shall be the county engineer.

(3)    The board of commissioners for Chelan County hereby direct the treasurer’s office prepare a warrant in the amount of one hundred dollars payable to the Chelan County public works department for the sole purpose of funding the “public works change fund.” (Res. 2022-102, 10/24/22).
