CHELAN COUNTY EMPLOYEE INSURANCE COMMITTEE
Sections:
1.328.010 Established.
The board of Chelan County commissioners shall establish and recognize the Chelan County employee insurance committee. (Res. 2000-21 (part), 2/28/00).
1.328.020 Administration.
The committee shall operate as follows:
(1) The ongoing chairman of the committee shall be the county administrator.
(2) A vice-chairman shall be elected by and from the committee members at the first meeting of each year, and will serve for a one-year term.
(3) All departments, at the discretion of the elected official or department head, shall have a representative on the committee.
(4) The committee shall meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed.
(5) The scope of the committee shall be as follows:
(A) Education regarding the insurance industry and related topics;
(B) Research of benefit/insurance options;
(C) Promotion of health and wellness;
(D) Make recommendations to the board of commissioners. (Res. 2000-21 (part), 2/28/00).
