5.50.070 Newly affected employers.
(A) Definition of Newly Affected Employer. An employer that is not an affected employer upon the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter but becomes an affected employer subsequent to the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter shall identify themselves to the County within ninety (90) calendar days of becoming an affected employer.
(B) CTR Program Submittal. Newly affected employers shall be granted one hundred eighty (180) calendar days from the official notice of the county that they are an affected employer or from the date of self identification to develop and submit a CTR program.
(C) Failure to Identify. Newly affected employers that do not identify themselves within ninety (90) calendar days of becoming an affected employer are in violation of this chapter.
(D) Timelines to Meet CTR Goals. Newly affected employers shall have two (2) years from the date of original CTR program approval to meet the first CTR goal of fifteen percent (15%) reduction of SOV or VMT; four (4) years from the date of original CTR program approval to meet the second goal of twenty percent (20%) reduction of SOV or VMT; six (6) years from the date of original CTR program approval to meet the third goal of twenty-five percent (25%) reduction of SOV or VMT; and twelve (12) years from the date of original CTR program approval to meet the fourth goal of thirty-five percent (35%) reduction of SOV or VMT.
