5.50.080 Change in status as an affected employer.
(A) Nonaffected Employer. If an employer initially designated as an affected employer no longer meets the definition of an affected employer and will continue as a nonaffected employer for twelve (12) months or more following its change of status, that employer is no longer an affected employer for the purposes of this chapter. It is the responsibility of the employer to notify the county that it is no longer an affected employer.
(B) Change in Status Within Twelve (12) Month Period. If such an employer once again becomes an affected employer within twelve (12) months of becoming a nonaffected employer, that employer will be considered an affected employer for the entire period in which it was a nonaffected employer.
(C) Change in Status in a Greater than Twelve (12) Month Period. If such an employer once again becomes an affected employer twelve (12) or more months after its change in status to a nonaffected employer, that employer shall be treated as a newly affected employer. (Sec. 7 of Ord. 1993-01-21)
