5.50.155 Credit for shifting work schedules.

Employers implementing work schedule changes to shift employee arrival times outside the 6:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M. window shall be provided credit against SOV and VMT reductions goals when calculating single-occupancy vehicle use and vehicle miles traveled; PROVIDED such implementation was an identified element within the employer’s approved CTR program; or such schedule changes occurred because of impacts associated with the Growth Management Act (Chapter 36.70A RCW). Each trip shifted out of the A.M. peak period will be equal to one-fifth (1/5) of a trip (i.e., for every five (5) employees whose schedule is changed, there is a credit of one (1) trip reduced).
