16.24.010 Permit required.

It is unlawful for any person to sponsor, to hold, or to participate in any regatta, motorboat race, boating exhibition, water ski tournament or similar event unless a permit therefor has been authorized by the board through the parks department; PROVIDED, that such a permit is not required if authorized by an appropriate agency of the United States.
