5.20.020 License issuance—Application—Fee—Lesser fee when.

The license herein provided shall be issued by the county auditor, upon application therefor in writing, which application must state the names and residences of the owner or owners of such circus, carnival, exhibition or show; the name of the circus, carnival, exhibition or show; the names of the persons in charge of the appearance thereof in Clark County, the day or days during which such affair shall be conducted in Clark County, the location or locations where such affair shall be conducted in Clark County and a list of the individual attractions, exhibits or concessions for which a fee may be charged of the public. Such application shall be accompanied with a fee of fifty dollars ($50) for each day during which such affair shall be conducted or maintained in Clark County, Washington. The license issued by the county auditor shall specify the day or days for which it is issued, the name of the circus, carnival, exhibition or show to which it is issued, the place of its appearance within Clark County and shall bear the official seal of the county auditor. The license shall be posted in a conspicuous place at the principal entrance to the circus, carnival, exhibition or show; provided, however, that when any such circus, carnival, exhibition or show is arranged for and conducted under the sponsorship and supervision of any public, civic or charitable organization within the county, which organization is responsible for the proper supervision and regulation of such circus, carnival, exhibition or show, then the license herein shall be ten dollars ($10) instead of fifty dollars ($50).
