24.09.050 Existing establishments, permit renewal, and change of ownership.

(1)    The Clark County board of health shall establish the fees for permitting of food establishments.

(2)    Clark County public health may renew a permit for an existing food establishment or may issue a permit to a new owner of an existing food establishment after a properly completed application is submitted, reviewed and approved, the fees are paid, and an inspection shows that the establishment is in compliance with this code.

(3)    An applicant shall submit a written application for a permit at least thirty (30) calendar days before the date planned for opening a food establishment or the expiration date of the current permit for an existing facility.

(4)    Permit renewal is required annually and requires:

(a)    The permit fee and a completed Clark County public health application form;

(b)    Submission of a water bacteriological analysis report if the food establishment is not utilizing public water;

(c)    Submission of a nitrate test result every three years if the food establishment is not utilizing public water; and

(d)    Submission of a copy of the mandated annual inspection and/or pumping report if the food establishment has an on-site sewage system. (Sec. 6 of Ord. 2006-08-10)
