DELINQUENT LID ASSESSMENTS

3.04.010 Foreclosure.
When any local improvement district assessment is payable in installments, upon failure to pay any installment due the entire assessment becomes due immediately and payable. The collection thereof will be enforced by foreclosure. The payment of all delinquent installments together with interest, penalty and cost, anytime before the entry of a judgment and foreclosure, extends the time of payment of the remainder of the assessments as if there had been no delinquency or foreclosure. Notwithstanding the provisions of RCW 35.50.030, foreclosure proceedings may be commenced at any time prior to 10 years after the assessment becomes delinquent. Further, the point of time in any calendar year for commencing such an action, notwithstanding provisions of RCW 35.50.030, is discretionary with the city. [Ord. 1064 § 1, 1989.]
