2.42.010 Established—Purpose.

The county commissioners establish an official county centennial committee to serve as the prime coordinating body for local celebrations of the state centennial, the bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution, and the commemoration of early maritime exploration, with the organizations ... or, and shall appoint members from the following groups and organizations ... or, and designates the following group as the official county centennial committee ... 2.42.020 Conduct of business.

The official county centennial committee shall provide for an open, public process, including an appeals process, for the development of plans for the celebration of the state centennial, and shall comply with all local, state and federal civil rights and anti-discrimination laws and regulations in the conduct of its business and activities. 2.42.030 Program plan—Budget.

The county centennial committee shall submit to the county commissioners annually a program plan and budget for the expenditure of funds used for centennial purposes. (Res. CE 87-31 (part))
