3.05.040 Buildings and houses to be numbered.
All houses and business places within the city of Ellensburg shall be numbered with a permanent indelible number, not less than two and one-half inches high, which must be legible from the public way. All such numbering of houses and business places as provided herein shall be completed within 90 days of adoption of this requirement. [Ord. 3696 § 1, 1990; Ord. 329 § 1, 1903.]
3.05.080 System of numbering.
The system to be used in numbering shall be the Philadelphia block system, giving 100 numbers to each block. [Ord. 329 § 2, 1903.]
3.05.120 Base lines.
First and Pearl Streets shall be the base line; East and West First Streets shall constitute the north and south base line, and North and South Pearl Streets shall constitute the east and west base line. [Ord. 329 § 3, 1903.]
3.05.200 Penalty.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. [Ord. 3696 § 2, 1990; Ord. 329 § 5, 1903.]
3.05.240 Renumbering blocks.
The dwelling houses on the south side of Eighth Street between Pearl Street and the east city limits are renumbered as follows:
The dwelling houses in Block “F” between Pearl and Pine Streets be numbered from not less than 100 to not more than 198, in Block “G” between Pine and Ruby Streets from not less than 200 to not more than 298, in Block “H” between Ruby and Sprague Streets from not less than 300 to not more than 398, in Block “J” between Sprague and Anderson Streets, from not less than 400 to not more than 498, in Block “K” between Anderson and Sampson Streets from not less than 500 to not more than 598, in Block “L” between Sampson and Walnut Streets from not less than 600 to not more than 698, in Block 64 between Walnut and Chestnut Streets from not less than 700 to not more than 798, in Block 63 between Chestnut and Poplar Streets from not less than 800 to not more than 898, the portion of Block 62 between Poplar and the east city limits from not less than 900 to not more than 998.
