9.23.010 Marijuana in public view.
It is unlawful to open a package containing marijuana, usable marijuana, or a marijuana infused product in view of the general public. A person who is found to have violated this section shall be deemed to have committed a Class 2 civil infraction and subject to a civil penalty of up to one hundred twenty-five dollars, not including statutory assessments. Enforcement shall be by issuance of a notice of infraction which shall be processed and any penalty paid in the manner set forth in Chapter 7.80 RCW for the disposition of traffic infractions; provided, that any penalty and costs collected shall be paid to and retained by the city.
