13.30.010 Municipal water-sewer system management and operation authority.
The city of Entiat is authorized to install, repair, and maintain various pipes and associated equipment in conjunction with the management and operation of the municipal water-sewer system. (Ord. 655 § 1, 2006; Ord. 221 § 1, 1979)
13.30.020 Operation of municipal equipment or property on private landowners’ property – Restrictions.
Whenever municipal equipment is used upon a private landowner’s property, said equipment shall be used and operated only by municipal employees and at no time shall a private citizen use the municipal equipment or property. (Ord. 655 § 1, 2006; Ord. 221 §§ 2, 3, 1979)
13.30.030 Occasions upon which municipal equipment to be used upon a private landowner’s property.
The only occasions upon which municipal equipment shall be used upon a private landowner’s property is when either of the following two conditions exist:
(1) An emergency exists wherein it is not feasible to have a commercial business engaged in the necessary work retained.
(2) Wherein the city of Entiat, by code, is directed to make installations, maintenance or repairs to municipal utility systems upon private property, wherein the private property owner is to be charged for the municipal services. (Ord. 655 § 1, 2006; Ord. 221 § 4, 1979)
13.30.040 Violation – Penalty.
Any violation of this chapter shall be an infraction and punishable by a fine pursuant to the monetary penalty schedule provided for in Infraction Rules for Courts of Limited Jurisdiction. (Ord. 655 § 1, 2006; Ord. 221 § 5, 1979)
