5.08.010 License required.

It is unlawful for any person to keep or operate any billiard, pool, combination billiard and pool, pigeon hole or Jennie Lind table or tables, where persons are allowed or permitted to congregate or play, within the city limits without first obtaining a license so to do as provided in this chapter.  (Prior code §5.08.010)

5.08.020 License fee--Receipt.

Any person desiring to obtain a license to keep or operate any billiard, pool, combination billiard and pool, pigeon hole or Jennie Lind table or tables, within the city where persons are allowed to congregate or play, shall pay to the city clerk-treasurer the license fee provided in this chapter, and shall take a receipt therefor and file the same with the city clerk-treasurer.  (Prior code §5.08.020)

5.08.030 License fee--Term.

The license fee for each billiard, pool, combination billiard and pool, pigeon hole or Jennie Lind table, shall be five dollars per year, and no license shall be granted for a shorter term than one year.  (Prior code §5.08.040)

5.08.040 License issuance--Term.

Upon filing the petition, treasurer’s receipt and bond required in this chapter, the city clerk-treasurer shall issue a license to the applicant for one year.  (Prior code §5.08.050)
