The 2021 Edition of the International Existing Building Code is included in the adoption of the International Building Code as provided by IBC Section 101.4.7 and amended in WAC 51-50-480000, as published by the International Code Council and adopted by the State Building Code Council in Chapter 51-50 WAC, excluding Chapter 1, Scope and Administration, is adopted, together with Appendix Chapter A, Guidelines for the Seismic Retrofit of Existing Buildings.
