A. The Transportation Advisory Board shall be concerned with matters of transportation policy and planning; it shall not play a role in the City’s land development review process. Duties of the Board shall include the following:

1. Creating an annual work plan, in consultation with the Mayor, City staff and City Council. Representatives of the TAB will meet at least annually with the City Council to discuss the annual work plan prior to it being finalized by the TAB.

2. Researching and reviewing transportation-related ordinances and policies for recommendation.

3. Providing input into the initiation and development of major corridor studies and transportation system long-range plans.

4. Reviewing the framework for prioritizing transportation capital improvement projects.

5. Updating the transportation impact analyses (TIAs) guidelines, as needed.

6. Making recommendations on transportation programs, services and priorities.

7. Presenting to the City Council an annual report of work plan activities and accomplishments.

8. Carrying out other duties as may be prescribed by City ordinance, or as directed by the Mayor. (Ord. 2801 § 1, 2017).
