The City may authorize refunding of not more than 80 percent of any fee collected under this chapter when no work has been done under a permit application in accordance with IMC Title 18, Land Use Code. The City shall not authorize refunding of any fee paid unless a written request for a refund is filed with the Permit Center by the original applicant not later than 180 days after the date the fee was paid.
