5.68.010 Junkyard defined.

For the purposes of this chapter, “junkyard” means the use of a lot, a portion of any lot, or a plot of ground, for the storage, keeping or abandonment of junk, including scrap metals or other scrap material, or the use of any area for the dismantling, demolition or abandonment of automobiles or other vehicles, machinery or parts thereof. 5.68.020 Purchase from minors prohibited.

It is unlawful for any operator of a junkyard to purchase any junk, including scrap metals or other scrap material or automobiles or other vehicles or machinery or parts thereof from any person under the age of twenty-one years. (Prior code § 8.64.020)
