4.128.010 Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to authorize the clerk of the superior court of Kitsap County to assess a service fee for reimbursement of actual costs incurred performing duties on request by correspondence and performing duties relating to the entry of ex parte orders.

See Title 1 of this code. Section 2 of Ord. 110, and Section 2 of Ord 110-A were formerly codified in this section.

Court fees are now covered by RCW 36.18.016(10).

4.128.030 Collection and implementation.

Collection of the fee shall be the responsibility of the clerk of the superior court of Kitsap County. The clerk of the superior court of Kitsap County shall implement procedures to collect the fee, procedures for waiver of fees based on an applicant’s showing of a bona fide hardship and shall post a fee schedule as required by RCW 36.18.080.

4.128.040 Collection and distribution.

The clerk of the superior court of Kitsap County shall cause the fees to be collected and be paid to the county treasurer on the first Monday of each month and shall otherwise account for the fees as provided in RCW Chapter 36.18.
