The following state statutes are adopted by reference:

10.20.020 When complaint to be issued – Failure to respond to notice – Penalty.

In the event any person fails to comply with a notice given to such person as provided by MICC 10.20.010 (RCW 46.64.015 and 46.64.017), or attached to a vehicle as provided by MICC 10.36.220 (RCW 46.90.720 and 46.90.730), or fails to make appearance pursuant to a summons directing an appearance in court or before the traffic violations bureau, or if any person fails or refuses to deposit bail as required and within the time specified by the traffic violations bureau, the traffic violations bureau by order of the judge shall forthwith have a complaint entered against such person and secure and issue a warrant for his arrest. A failure to respond to a notice to appear before the court or to appear in or to contact the violations bureau is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $350 or 90 days in jail, or both.
