4.26.010 Created.

There is hereby established a park and recreation board for the city of Mill Creek, which shall consist of seven members appointed by the city council. At the time of their tenure in office, all members shall be residents of the city of Mill Creek. Any member who ceases to reside within the city limits during the term of his/her office shall forfeit said office. (Ord. 2006-640 § 8. Formerly 2.36.010)

4.26.020 Term expiration.

All terms shall expire on October 31st in the final year of each term. (Ord. 2006-640 § 8. Formerly 2.36.020)

4.26.030 Powers and duties.

The park and recreation board shall serve as an advisory board to the city council and the administrative staff concerning the following matters:

A. Development, design and operation of park and recreation programming and facilities with exception of final landscaping plan;

B. Facility use fees and procedures;

C. Capital improvement planning;

D. Concessions;

E. Interlocal and cooperative use agreements regarding park and recreation activities;

F. All matters as from time to time may be referred to the board by the city council, the city manager or administrative staff. (Ord. 2006-640 § 8. Formerly 2.36.030)

4.26.040 Regular meetings.

The board shall have a regular meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. (Ord. 2007-662 § 1; Ord. 2006-640 § 8. Formerly 2.36.050)
