For the purpose of this chapter, the term “nonelected officials” shall mean those persons who are neither employed by nor elected to positions with the city but, rather, serve in an appointive capacity on boards or commissions for the city. (Ord. 1949 § 1, 1979).

Such duties and functions shall include travel expenses incurred in making inspections of sites which are the subject of proposed action by the board or commission of which claimant is a member and for travel, lodging and meal costs incurred by the claimant while attending conferences, meetings and seminars as an official representative of the city. Expenses shall be reimbursed in accordance with the guidelines set forth in city council Resolution 132. (Ord. 1949 § 2, 1979).

2.92.030 Procedure for claiming reimbursement.

Claims for expenses shall be made in the form and manner set forth in Chapter 3.04 MVMC. (Ord. 1949 § 3, 1979).
