17.75.010 Building plans and site plans.

All districts shall require building plans and site plans, that comply with Chapter 14.05 MVMC, drawn to scale showing the entire site; dimensions of the lot; dimensions of the building; dimensions of the setbacks from the lot lines; location of the private garage or off-street parking space and the driveway; extent of the roof eaves overhang shown and dimensioned; location of the side sewer line; type, size and arrangement of any required landscaping or screening; and any other information required to show compliance with the regulations of this title shall be filed in the city offices when application for a building permit is made. All required permits shall be obtained at the same time the building permit is issued. (Ord. 3429 § 123, 2008).

17.75.020 Parking lot plans.

In all districts, the party proposing a development that requires off-street parking areas containing more than 10 spaces shall present to the city engineer sets of plans of the proposed development which shall include complete site plans drawn to scale and dimensioned showing the entire site, adjacent buildings, adjoining streets, topography, proposed buildings and off-street parking driveways, distances between banks of cars and striping, proposed screen planting, spaces and species, and any other information pertinent to the scheme or required to show compliance with the regulations of this title, and shall comply with the requirements of Chapter 14.05 MVMC. Off-street parking lot lighting plans shall be submitted to the city engineer for approval. Lighting for off-street parking lots shall be of the type that is energy conserving and directional. The lighting design shall provide that a minimum amount of light is emitted upward. (Ord. 3429 § 124, 2008).

17.75.030 Certificate of occupancy required when.

Upon completion of a building or development, including all on-site and off-site facilities or improvements which may be required as a condition of the issuing of the building permit, a certificate of occupancy shall be obtained from the building official prior to occupancy of the building or development. (Ord. 2352, 1989).
