POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA

9.30.010 Unlawful.

Except in those cases where a greater penalty is imposed by the laws of the state of Washington in any crime relating to the possession, use, or sale of controlled substances, it shall be a misdemeanor for any person in the City of Mountlake Terrace to possess 40 grams or less of marijuana. (Ord. 981 § 1, 1974).

9.30.020 Violation – Penalty.

Any violation of this chapter shall be a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $250.00. (Ord. 981 § 2, 1974).
