6.42.010 Penalty for violations.
Violations of this title shall constitute a misdemeanor, unless otherwise specified, and are subject to the provisions contained in Section 1.32.010(B), General penalties. Each act in violation of this title is a separate and distinct offense. (Ord. 1105 § 2 (part), 2004)
6.42.020 Civil infractions.
Violations of this title that are specified as constituting a civil infraction shall be subject to the provisions contained in Section 1.32.020, Civil infractions. (Ord. 1105 § 2 (part), 2004)
6.42.030 Gross misdemeanors.
Violations of this title that are specified as constituting a gross misdemeanor shall be subject to the provisions contained in Section 1.32.010(A), General penalties. (Ord. 1105 § 2 (part), 2004)
6.42.040 Each day an additional offense.
Each day of continued violation shall be deemed a separate and additional offense. (Ord. 1105 § 2 (part), 2004)
6.42.050 Provisions not exclusive.
The penalty and enforcement provisions herein are not exclusive, and the city may pursue any remedy or relief permitted by law. (Ord. 1105 § 2 (part), 2004)
6.42.060 Payment of costs and fees.
Upon conviction of any misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor under this chapter, the defendant shall pay, in addition to any penalty levied by the court, the cost of prosecution, including but not limited to public defender fees, veterinary services, impoundment fees and animal disposition costs, if any.
