CITY OFFICE HOURS

2.20.010 City Hall and public works offices.

Except for the utility billing office, all City Hall offices shall be kept open for the transaction of business with the public from the hours of eight a.m. to five p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays. The utility billing office, municipal court, and public works offices shall be kept open for the transaction of business with the public from the hours of eight a.m. to four p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays. The office hours set forth hereinabove are subject to the provisions of Section 2.20.040 establishing temporary closures in the calendar year 2010. 2.20.020 Library.

The library shall be open for the transaction of business with the public as determined by the library board of trustees with the concurrence of the city council. (Ord. 447 § 3, 1987)

2.20.030 Police and fire department offices.

A.    The police department business office shall be kept open for the transaction of business with the public from eight a.m. to four p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays.

B.    The fire department business office shall be kept open for the transaction of business with the public from eight a.m. to five p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays.

C.    The office hours set forth hereinabove are subject to the provisions of Section 2.20.040 establishing temporary closures in the calendar year 2010.

2.20.040 Temporary closures in 2010.

All offices of the city normally open for the transaction of business with the public shall be closed on the following weekdays during the calendar year 2010 except for waterworks utilities and shared utilities: January 4, February 1, March 1, March 15, April 5, April 19, May 3, May 17, September 20, October 4, October 18, November 1, November 15, November 29, December 6, December 20 and December 27.
