31.2.1 Equal Employment Opportunity

I.    The Department values having a well-qualified work force that reflects the diversity of the community.

II.    The Department complies with Equal Employment Opportunity policies and guidelines, as described in City Policy 3.

III.    The Department complies with the Olympia Civil Service Commission standards on Equal Employment Opportunity.

31.2.2 Sexual harassment - prohibited in recruiting and hiring

In relation to recruiting and hiring, as well as employee conduct, sexual harassment is strictly prohibited and violations are thoroughly investigated, as described in City Policy 3. [see also 26.1.2]
