NOTARY SERVICES

A schedule of fees for notary services provided to members of the public by city staff is adopted as set forth in Section 3.12.040(B). (Ord. 2003-16 § 7, 2003: Ord. 99-09 § 1 (part), 1999)
2.90.020 Revisions.
The city clerk may from time to time make recommendations to the council regarding revisions of the above fee schedule in order to reflect increases or decreases in the cost of providing this service, and the council shall be authorized to make such revisions by resolution. 2.90.030 Exempt documents.
All city documents and documents related to a person’s dealings with the city shall be exempt from the above fee schedule. Such documents include but are not limited to the following:
Applications for employment
Waiver and authorization to release information
Low income senior/disabled citizen discount
Utility extension agreements
Right-of-way deeds where city is grantee
Statutory warranty deeds where city is grantee
Quit claim deeds where city is grantee
Slope easements
Easement and transfer of utilities
Utility easement
Temporary construction easements
Planning applications of all types.
