10.68.010 Maximum speed.

It is unlawful for any person in charge of any railroad car, train or locomotive to run or move the same within the corporate limits of the city at a greater rate of speed than 25 miles per hour. (Ord. 932 § 1, 1931).

10.68.020 Time limit on street crossing.

It is unlawful for any person having charge or control of any car, locomotive or railway train, to allow the same to remain upon any street crossing for a longer period of time than five minutes. (Ord. 932 § 2, 1931).

10.68.030 Obeying watchman or flagman.

It shall be the duty of every person before walking across or driving or propelling any vehicle or causing any vehicles to be driven or propelled across any railroad crossing within the corporate limits of the city upon which a flagman or watchman is kept or maintained to observe said watchman or flagman and to promptly obey any signal, sign, or warning that may be given by such watchman or flagman, pertaining to the use of said crossing. 10.68.040 Penalty for violation.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in any sum not to exceed $100.00 in addition to costs of prosecution. (Ord. 932 § 4, 1931).
