A.    Purpose. The purpose of this chapter is to provide a single convenient updated schedule of fees for services and uses of facilities of the city of Rainier.

B.    The general fee schedule of fees and charges shall be as set forth in subsection (E) of this section. If there is any conflict between fees listed therein, and any fees established by any other ordinance or resolution, the provisions of this chapter shall prevail.

C.    Applications. Uses of all city facilities or permits shall be granted only through the application process established for the type of use. All applications shall be submitted to the city clerk’s office for processing.

D.    Forms. Application forms and other appropriate forms shall be provided for all uses and applications, and shall be available in the office of the city clerk at City Hall.

Wetland analysis and mitigation review deposit = $1,000.

Engineer stormwater review deposit = $175.00.

***Applicant discretion—staff recommends.

† This includes any room that could be used as or converted into a lawful bedroom.

Staff billable hourly rates may apply to certain aspects of a project.

Engineer review deposits—projects individually evaluated to determine if engineer review is required.

If a city decision is overturned by appeal, the city shall refund the appeal fee.

Ten percent administration fee assumed on all required outside consultant reviews.
