4-9-220 SPECIAL PERMITS:

A. PURPOSE AND AUTHORITY:

Recognizing that there are certain uses of property that may be detrimental to the public health, safety, morals, and general welfare, and not permitted by right in the zone where proposed, depending upon the facts of each particular case, a limited power to issue permits for such uses is vested in the Hearing Examiner following recommendation by the Development Services Division. C. SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS AND FEES:

Shall be as listed in RMC 4-8-120C, Land Use Applications, and the City of Renton Fee Schedule. (Ord. 5984, 10-26-2020)

D. REVIEW PROCESS AND DECISION CRITERIA:

The standards of review and procedural requirements shall be the same as a conditional use permit. (Ord. 3592, 12-14-1981)

E. EXPIRATION AND EXTENSIONS:

Shall be as stipulated in RMC 4-8-100H and I.
