10.36.010 No parking.

It is unlawful for any person to allow or permit their vehicle to be parked on the following described streets and avenues:

A. First Street from Garden Avenue to Douglas Street.

B. Third Street from Rock Island Drive to Douglas Street.

C. Keane Street from First to Second Street.

D. That portion of Parkway Drive which is approximately 250 feet from the last curve to the end of the street located east of Lot 17 in the northeast quarter of Section 25, Township 22 North, Range 21 E.W.M., Rock Island, Douglas County, Washington. (Ord. 99-045 § 1; Ord. 97-001 § 1).

10.36.020 Violation – Penalty.

Any person who violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to have committed a civil infraction and shall be punished by a monetary penalty in any sum not to exceed $500.00. (Ord. 97-001 § 1).

10.36.030 Unlawful parking – Removal and impounding.

Whenever any vehicle shall be stopped, parked or standing in violation of this chapter or shall constitute a menace, danger or obstruction to traffic or to the safety of the general public, or shall become stalled, disabled or unable to move under its own power on any public street in the city, the city is empowered, through the chief of police, to remove such vehicle, and such vehicle shall be impounded pursuant to Chapter 46.55 RCW and Chapter 10.06 RIMC, as now exist or as may be hereafter amended.
