2.46.010 Purpose.

The intent of the city in the adoption of this chapter is to provide to those personnel of the city who are without the protection of either the police or fire civil service systems and who hold executive positions a job security and protection from removal from their position with the city. (Ord. 751 § 1, 1990).

2.46.020 Department heads – Enumerated.

The city has been organized into departments which shall be directed by heads. There shall be the following department heads: ambulance, police chief, city superintendent and fire chief. (Ord. 751 § 2, 1990).

2.46.030 Department heads – Appointment.

The department heads shall be selected by that method incorporated in prior ordinances or pursuant to RCW Title 35. (Ord. 751 § 3, 1990).
