APPLICATION, VIOLATION, AND PENALTY

17.30.010 General.

All development and use of land within the corporate limits of the City shall conform to all of the requirements of this code, unless specifically exempted herein or by the operation of law. All violations of this title are hereby determined to be detrimental to the public health, safety and general welfare and are hereby declared public nuisances. Further, any person who willfully or knowingly causes, aids, or abets a violation pursuant to this uniform development code, by any act of commission or omission, is guilty of a misdemeanor. Upon conviction, the person shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $1,000 and/or incarceration for a term not to exceed 90 days. Each week (seven consecutive days) such violation continues shall be considered a separate misdemeanor offense. (Ord. 07-015 § 4, 2007).
