CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS

16.16.010 Construction standards for streets, sewers and storm drains, utilities and street lighting.
The City adopts the Standard Specifications for Municipal Public Works Construction, as written and promulgated by the Washington State Chapter of the American Public Works Association, and the Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction, written and promulgated by the Washington State Department of Transportation and the American Public Works Association, copies of which standard specifications shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk, and which standard specifications are guidelines for use within the City and from which variation may be approved in writing by the Director of Public Works, based upon the specific circumstances of a particular project.
