13.65.010 Connection permit.
Each new sanitary sewer or water connection within the municipal limits of the town of Twisp, Washington, shall require issuance of a sanitary sewer or water connection permit issued by the town, after appropriate application is made from the requesting party upon the application form as provided by the town. Such sanitary sewer or water connection permit shall only be issued by the town if such sanitary sewer or water connection permit is issued concurrently with or subsequent to the issuance of a building permit for the construction of a single- or multiple-family residential dwelling, commercial business or establishment, industrial business or establishment, or public use, hereinafter “building permit,” requiring sanitary sewer or water from the town of Twisp. Such sanitary sewer or water connection shall be made within the time limits established under such building permit, or extensions thereof, and shall expire on the expiration date of such building permit. 13.65.020 Permit fees.
There is hereby established and fixed as a rate for any new sanitary sewer or water connection permit a fee as follows:
(1) For new sanitary sewer connection: $2,500.
(2) For new water connection: $2,500. (Ord. 594 § 1, 2008; Ord. 555 § 2, 2006)
13.65.030 Separate connections.
Each individual sanitary sewer or water connection shall be deemed to be a separate connection and shall require a separate sanitary sewer or water connection permit and the payment of such associated fees. (Ord. 555 § 3, 2006)
13.65.040 Amendment by resolution.
The permit fees established by this chapter may be amended from time to time by the town council upon passage of a resolution evidencing such amendment. (Ord. 555 § 4, 2006)
