20.168.010 Purpose.

The purpose of this Chapter is to address the need to provide for medical and dental laboratories, offices and clinics, and professional office buildings within certain RM multi-family zoned areas, and to provide locational criteria under which a Conditional Use permit may be applied for. Further, it is the purpose of this Chapter to eliminate the nonconforming status of such facilities and uses which are already located within the RM Zoning District. 20.168.020 Location criteria.

A. In an RM zone, medical and dental laboratories, offices and clinics, and professional office buildings are subject to Level III review as prescribed in Chapter 20.26.

B. Location Criteria: Medical and dental laboratories, offices and clinics and professional office buildings, when located within an RM zone, shall be adjacent to commercially or industrially zoned areas or in close proximity to such areas as determined by the Director consistent with the Walla Walla Comprehensive Plan.
