PARKING AND LOADING ZONES

8.20.010 Loading zones.

The following loading zones are established to be indicated by way of a 44-foot red paint strip:

In the mid block area of the west side of Wenatchee Avenue between Kittitas Street and Yakima Avenue.

In the mid block area on the east side of Wenatchee Avenue between Orondo Avenue and Palouse Street, near the structure presently housing Miller’s Camera located at 19 South Wenatchee Avenue.

In the mid block area of the east side of Wenatchee Avenue between Palouse Street and First Street, near the structure commonly known as the Belmont building.

On the north end of the west side of Wenatchee Avenue between Palouse Street and First Street, near the structure presently housing Sofa World, commonly known as 30 North Wenatchee Avenue.

In the mid block area on the east side of Mission Street between Orondo Avenue and Palouse Street, near the structure presently housing Wood and Things Furniture Company, commonly known as 23 South Mission.

The two parking stalls presently located on the west end of the north side of Orondo Avenue between Chelan Avenue and Mission Street, to be designated as said loading zone only between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

In the mid block area of the east side of Chelan Avenue between Palouse Street and First Street. (Ord. 2676 § 1, 1987)

8.20.020 Two-hour parking zones.

(1) Both the north and south sides of Palouse Street between Chelan Avenue and the Adams/ King Street intersection shall be and is designated as a two-hour parking zone.

(2) The south side of First Street shall be changed from a 24-hour parking zone to a two-hour parking zone between Chelan Avenue and Adams Street. (Ord. 2676 §§ 2, 4, 1987)

8.20.030 Freight loading zones.

The sign currently located on the west side of Chelan Avenue near the intersection of First Street and Chelan Avenue is changed to read, “Freight Loading Only”. (Ord. 2676 § 3, 1987)

8.20.040 Alley located between Palouse Street and Orondo Avenue.

The alley located between Palouse Street and Orondo Avenue and running parallel and between Wenatchee Avenue and Columbia Street shall be designated on the east side of said alley as a loading zone and on the west side of said alley as a loading zone and on the west side of said alley as a no parking zone. The loading zone shall be designated with a red paint strip and the no parking zone shall be designated with a yellow paint strip. (Ord. 2676 § 5, 1987)

8.20.050 Thirty-minute parking stalls.

Three parking stalls shall be located on the west side of Mission Street between Palouse Street and First Street designated as 30-minute parking stalls. Said 30-minute parking stalls shall be located adjacent to the property located at 4 North Mission Street, 14 North Mission Street, and 32 North Mission Street, respectively. (Ord. 2676 § 6, 1987)
