CITY STREET FUND

3.22.020    Purpose.

3.22.010 Established – Source of funds.

There is created a city street fund into which shall be placed all arterial street funds, all street funds and all monies received for motor vehicle license fees, gas tax and all other state and city revenue and monies intended to be used for highway or street purposes. 3.22.020 Purpose.

The city street fund shall be used to pay for all obligations of the city for the payment of salaries, wages, materials, supplies, equipment, purchase or condemnation of right-of-way, engineering or any other purpose in connection with the construction, alteration, repair, improvement, or maintenance of any arterial street, city street or bridge, viaduct or under passage along, upon or across the streets of the city as provided by law. Such expenditures may be made either independently or in conjunction with any federal, state or county funds. [Ord. 33-08 § 1, 2008; Ord. 108-94 § 2, 1994; Ord. 307 § 5(a), 1979].
