3.68.010 Fingerprinting.
(1) The city of Westport police department is authorized to charge individuals requesting fingerprinting.
(2) The fees charged for said fingerprinting services shall be set and, if need be, modified by the police chief and approved by the city council. (Ord. 1632, 2020; Ord. 1029, 1996)
3.68.015 Notary services.
(1) The city of Westport is authorized to provide notary services to the public and collect moneys for that service.
(2) The fees charged for said notary services shall be set and, if need be, modified by the clerk-treasurer and approved by the city council. (Ord. 1632, 2020)
3.68.020 Sale of Class A sludge/bio-solids.
(1) The city of Westport is authorized to sell and collect moneys for the sale of Class A sludge/bio-solids from the city of Westport wastewater treatment plant.
(2) The fees charged for said sludge/bio-solids shall be set and, if need be, modified by the public works director and approved by the city council. (Ord. 1150, 1998)
3.68.030 Civil process services.
The Westport police department is authorized to charge and collect moneys ($35.00 per request to serve) for serving civil process within the city of Westport. Each request will be entitled to a maximum of three service attempts by the Westport police department.
All service fees shall be paid in advance of the service and are nonrefundable. (Ord. 1242, 2001; Ord. 1151, 1998)
3.68.040 Emergency response expenses.
The city of Westport is authorized to recapture those costs incurred by the city as a result of the necessity of carrying out emergency responses resulting from actions by individuals subsequently convicted of an offense arising out of the incident as authorized in RCW 9.94A.030, 9.95.210 and 38.52.430. (Ord. 1194, 1999)
3.68.050 Permit fees for fire permits.
The city of Westport is authorized to charge and collect fees for certain types of fire permits as shown in the following table:
