DIVING FROM PUBLIC BRIDGES PROHIBITED

8.20.010 Unlawful diving.
It is unlawful for any person to dive, jump, plunge or otherwise propel himself from any bridge or any other structure on the right-of-way of a public road, street, highway, alley or way, into any body of water in Whatcom County. (Prior code § 7.36.010).
8.20.020 Violation – Penalty.
A. Violation of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor.
B. Violators shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not to exceed $250.00, imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 30 days, or both. (Prior code §§ 7.36.020, 7.36.030).
