CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
AGAINST THE TOWN

3.08.030 Issuance of warrants.
3.08.010 Presentation.
All claims or demands against the town shall be presented to the clerk, stating the date and nature of each item. It shall be referred to the town council for its decision. (Ord. 474 § 3(B), 1996: Ord. 6 § 1, 1924)
3.08.020 Action on claim.
Final action on any claim shall not be taken on the same day presented except by unanimous vote of the council. (Ord. 6 § 2, 1924)
3.08.030 Issuance of warrants.
Warrants shall be issued, numbered in order, signed by the mayor, and countersigned by the clerk for all claims legally allowed by the council. (Ord. 6 § 3, 1924)
3.08.040 Payment of warrants.
The treasurer shall pay all warrants out of the proper funds in the order of their issue. (Ord. 6 § 4, 1924)
