2.68.010 Establishment of the Zillah senior/civic center.

The city council establishes the Zillah senior/ civic center and does hereby permit the utilization of public properties at Loges Park in the city, for the construction of the facility. The construction of the facility shall be pursuant to a building permit which shall be obtained by the Zillah senior/civic center organization, the fee for which building permit shall be waived as authorized under the provisions of RCW 36.39.060. The plans and specifications for the center shall be approved by the public works department and shall be submitted to and approved by the Zillah city council. Construction of the facility is authorized to proceed at such time as the plans and specifications are approved by the city council after consideration and passage of a motion approving the same. After the facility is constructed, it shall be maintained as the senior/civic center, and shall be utilized and operated in accordance with this chapter. (Ord. 748 § 2, 1993)

2.68.030 Dedication of property for senior/civic center purpose.

At such time as the building plans are approved, and at such time as the real property upon which the facility is to be located can be adequately described, the city council may dedicate said real estate for the use and purposes of a senior/civic center as provided by this chapter. (Ord. 748 § 4, 1993)

2.68.040 City council promulgation authority.

The city council shall, by resolution from time to time, approve or adopt agreements between the city and organizations utilizing the facility, approve and adopt fees and charges required from other entities or persons to utilize the facility, and the rules and regulations which shall govern the utilization of the facility by various associations, entities or persons.
