13.68.010 Safety.

The side sewer contractor, before beginning excavation in a public area, shall have at the site and set up sufficient barricades to properly safeguard the public from the work area. The barricades shall be illuminated during the nighttime hours. The City may require a flagman when work is underway in the public way.

All construction work shall be done in accordance with all Federal, State, local, and City safety regulations. (Ord. 2186 § 2, 1998).

13.68.020 Cleanup.

The side sewer contractor shall remove all debris and excess excavation material, and shall repair all damage, public or private, in kind immediately after backfilling. (Ord. 2186 § 2, 1998).
